E-JAM, Employment Jamaica Limited is a diversified human resource agency, which began May 2005, serving the needs of employers and jobseekers in Jamaica; our mission: “Putting Jamaica to work” by providing innovation employment and training solutions in order to support economic prosperity.

E-JAM is licensed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Services as a local and overseas placement organization, registered with the United States Embassy as an authorized agency participant in the USA J1 Work and Travel, J1 Training and H2B temporary work programs and is a member of the St. Ann Chamber of Commerce. Overseas

Overseas Placements ….specializing in the recruitment of Jamaican workers to fill seasonal positions, primarily for businesses in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada.  The agency partners with several U.S. companies to recruit candidates for the USA J1 Work and Travel, J1 Training and H2B temporary work programs. In the past years E-JAM, has placed many Jamaican workers and college students at major hotels, resorts and companies throughout the USA and Canada. The downturn of the global and US economy has dampened the usual number of placements overseas; the recession have resulted in a major reduction in employment and revenue.

Local

The other arm of the company is our online state of the art job portal www.employmentjamaica.com a website, which was launched in 2005 and ranks very high on Google and Yahoo search engines.  Our website database now hosts thousands of jobseekers who registered and posted resumes under various job categories on our website.  Presently jobseekers can post resumes free of charge and employers may view the resumes posted, or they can advertise vacancies. Our aim is to make the website Jamaica’s premier job search and recruitment centre creating a labour market mechanism, which brings workers and employers together quickly, economically and efficiently.
